Redskins are expected to cut or trade RB Matt Jones; What is he worth?
The Washington Redskins are expected to move on from Matt Jones. The Washington Post says Jones was told that he is no longer a part of the team’s plans. The 2015 third-round pick has been training at his home in Florida in the meantime, but he is expected to be cut or traded.
I want to know what you think will happen? Could the former third round pick get a nice draft pick in return? Jones has rushed for 950 yards on 243 career carries, with six touchdowns. That is pretty solid considering the Redskins offensive line.
I wonder if a team like Green Bay would be willing to trade for Jones? At this point, I would not offer more than a 7th round pick for Jones. It sounds like the Redskins are hoping for anything in return. What would you offer?
