NFC South will be allowed to keep an exemption player on their PS from overseas

Falcons will get to keep former Rugby star Alex Gray on their practice squad

The NFL and foreign players will get to work closer with one another.  Today the NFL announced the NFC South has been chosen to keep one international player on their practice squad for the entire year, and are not able to call him up.  This will help them groom a player from overseas.

The four players chosen include:

  • England rugby star Alex Gray – Falcons
  • DE Alex Jenkins (UK) – Saints
  • LB Eric Nzeocha (Germany) – Buccaneers
  • DE Efe Obada (UK) – Panthers
