Former Small school football star wins Dancing with the Stars

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater win Dancing with the Stars

Ten of 24 athletes have won dancing with the Stars, and the latest former NFL star to win was Rashad Jennings.

The former small school running back from Liberty was a beast and put in the hard work needed to win it all.

Host Erin Andrews revealed the 32-year-old athlete spent a total of 362 hours in rehearsal, the most of any contestant on the show. “I push myself so hard, because working hard is all I know,” Rashad said. “I just wanted to come out here, get to know myself and fight for this.”

“I wanna thank Rashad for letting me create,” added Emma. “I’m sad because I don’t know if I’ll get this again.”

Jennings played with the New York Giants as well as the Oakland Raiders.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough. My name is Damond Talbot, I have worked extremely hard to help hundreds of small school players over the past several years, and will continue my mission.
