Former Bama DT and current Seahawk is under investigation for Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence is becoming a major issue in the NFL, and another player is currently under investigation by Police for an allegation made from a female. According to K5 news in Seattle, Jarran Reed the former Seahawks draft pick and Alabama standout is being accused of assaulting a female in late April.
Bellevue Police responded to a complaint from a woman who claimed that Seattle Seahawk Jarran Reed had assaulted her in late April, according to sources close to the Bellevue Police Department.
The alleged incident happened on April 27 at 3 a.m. at a home in Bellevue.
Sources confirm that the domestic violence case is open. Investigators are looking into the claim, and there has still been no determination on if charges will be filed.
The 24-year-old Reed is a 6-3, 311-pound defensive lineman from Goldsboro, N.C.
The former Alabama star was a second-round draft pick last year and started six games for the Seahawks, recording 34 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks.
Reed started 28 games for the Crimson Tide.
