Adrian Peterson is willing to take a pay cut to go to a contender; Yes the PATRIOTS
Dude it is not fair already, but if Adrian Peterson goes to the Patriots, I may quit football.
Today, Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reported that Peterson would be willing to think about signing a team-friendly deal with the Patriots for a shot at capturing a Super Bowl ring. The 31-year-old has already made nearly $100 million in his NFL career, and he knows he is not going to be the highest-paid running back in the NFL now that the Minnesota Vikings are releasing him.
This is insane, and with the news that LeGarrette Blount will likely move on, it makes you wonder what the Patriots will do. I would not be shocked to see this happen. It sure would take off some heat from Tom Brady to have a great back.
