Marcell Dareus speaks out about Rex Ryan’s defense; Says it was too detailed

Bills best defensive tackle will miss the first game of the season due to suspension
Bills DT does a better job at running his mouth than stopping the run

The Buffalo Bills and Rex Ryan were defeated again today, when the team announced they fired Rex and his brother Rob.  The Bills defense was lackluster and played horribly this season.  The only problem with the entire situation is after the fact that Rex was fired, his players began to speak out.  This usually doesn’t happen considering Rex is a player’s coach. One interesting comment came from Marcell Dareus:

Dareus also thinks the team “should’ve been just more aggressive on defense” and that Ryan’s scheme wasn’t a great fit for the players that the Bills had on hand, according to Pro Football Talk.

“It was just too much detail for a lot of guys, and I feel like for a lot of guys it was too much going on for them to check here and check there, if this happens and that happens,” Dareus said. “Then nine times out of ten, a team will throw something out there that we weren’t prepared for, and then the adjustment to it, we had to get use to and try to make it happen and make plays.”

I do not believe that Marcell should speak because he was not there for half the season. He could not keep his hands off weed.  To be honest, Dareus talked about people’s jobs being on the line, well he needs to look in the mirror. He should turn to the Pegula’s and cut them a check for overpaying him, because he has been horrible since signing that mega deal.
