NFL and CFL announced an officiating partnership; More reps for our NFL officials
The NFL and CFL announced an officiating partnership which will allow the NFL officials to get more reps on the field. Because of the rule differences the NFL they will serve as field and side judges.
“Any time our newer officials can get more reps on the field, during practices or games, that will make them better officials,” Blandino said. “The collaboration with the CFL will certainly benefit us as we prepare for the 2016 season and we look forward to welcoming our CFL officiating counterparts to our development program later this spring.”
This will also allow some of the CFL officials to join the NFL as well as part oft their agreement. This could be the beginning of something good.
