Report: Eagles have agreed to hire Jim Schwartz as their next defensive coordinator
The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to reunite Jim Schwartz with Kiko Alonso. According to Don Banks of SI.com, the Eagles and Schwartz have an agreement in place for Schwartz to be the next defensive coordinator.

Eagles have a new Defensive coordinator in Jim Schwartz. Deal is not yet signed, but agreement in place.
The Eagles brought Schwartz in a for an interview on Tuesday, and all indications were that he’d be hired to run their defense, barring an unforeseen turn of events. Schwartz reportedly had interest from the Browns and Jaguars as well.
Schwartz, 49, was by as the Lions back in 2009. During his five years in Detroit, Schwartz led them to a record of 29-51 (36.3 percent) including one playoff appearance.
