Patriots claim RB Trey Williams off waivers; Place Trey Flowers on I/R
The Patriots claimed RB Trey Williams on waivers from the Cowboys. Pretty good upgrade for the young man from Texas A&M.
In a corresponding move the Patriots placed Trey Flowers on the injured reserve ending his season.
Patriots signed a couple of speedsters today: 5-8 WR Demaris Johnson (formerly of HOU, PHI) and 5-7 RB Trey Williams (formerly of WAS, DAL).
