On Monday, Mike Daniels was signed to a four-year, $42 million contract extension, according to multiple reports. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This is great news for the Packers who have really been blessed by Daniel performance.

Daniels is the NFL’s third-highest-paid 3-4 end behind Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt and Arizona Cardinals’ Calais Campbell. Daniels, 26, has turned into an interior force for the Packers. Originally a fourth-round draft pick in 2012, the Iowa product has far exceeded expectations.
