The Dolphins had to act quick after the Bengals made an attempt to sign Thomas to their 53. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech and was the Hokies’ starting quarterback from 2011 to 2013.
