Michael Gehlken of the Union Tribune reports that the Chargers are promoting WR Tyrell Williams to their active roster.
The Chargers are in need of receiver help now that Keenan Allen is out for the year and Malcolm Floyd has yet to return to practice since he suffered a torn labrum back in Week 9.
At 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Williams played at NCAA Division II Western Oregon University. He ran a 4.42-second, 40-yard dash time at his pro day at Oregon State University and posted a 39.5 inch vertical leap.
Williams finished with 162 receptions for 2,792 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Wolves.
