The New Orleans Saints officially released DE Anthony Spencer from the injured reserve list on Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Spencer was placed on the injured reserve before roster cuts. Spencer never panned out for the Saints. He had his best time as a Cowboy, and has since been injury prone.

Anthony Spencer played college football for Purdue University. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys 26th overall in the 2007 NFL Draft.
