Lions worked out three veteran running backs this week along with others
Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Lions worked out free agent running backs Bryce Brown, Travaris Cadet and Daniel Thomas on Wednesday. 
The Lions worked out a number of running backs and defensive lineman. They ultimately signed Andre Fluellen whom they know very well.
