Steelers have signed former Bills draft pick Ross Cockrell
Today the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to make the cuts necessary to get to 52 players on their roster. When they hit the 52 mark the team signed former Buffalo Bills draft pick Ross Cockrell.
The Steelers filled the 53rd roster spot by signing cornerback Ross Cockrell, a fourth-round pick of the Bills in 2014 who appeared in seven games. He was signed to a one-year deal.
Cockrell played college football at Duke University and was a very solid corner. This was a good pick up by the Steelers. Yesterday, Cockrell worked out with the Packers.
