Giants are working out Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks, Chris Cooley and Phillip Sims
Today Phillip Sims the former Arizona Cardinals quarterback will have some veteran guys to throw the ball too. According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks will be joining Sims and veteran tight end Chris Cooley for a work-out.
According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, Nicks will be joined by former Dolphins, Patriots, and Broncos receiver Wes Welker, who became a free agent in March and who has received scant interest.
Sims has practice squad eligibility, so this could be a very smart move by the Giants to see how he does throwing to veterans.
