Dolphins are working out former Syracuse linebacker Marquis Spruill
ESPN’s Adam Caplan is reporting that the Miami Dolphins will host former Atlanta Falcons LB Marquis Spruill for a workout on Monday. Spruill was a draft pick for the Falcons, and played college ball at Syracuse where he was a four year starter for the Orange. Spruill was released by the Falcons last week.
Spruill, 24, has three years remaining on his four-year, $2,391,480 rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $435,000, $600,000, and $690,000 over the next three years.
Spruill unfortunately was placed on season-ending injured reserve last August after he sustained an ACL tear.
