Could Tom Brady retire before he is sanctioned by the NFL?
Tom Brady has already built a legacy in the NFL. His integrity is being questioned and today he received great news.
The U.S. Court of Appeals said in oral arguments that Tom Brady‘s suspension litigation will not begin until Feb. 1, via ESPN.
With the Super Bowl being played on Feb. 7, this guarantees that Brady will play for the remainder of the 2015 NFL season and the playoffs.
On Sept. 3, U.S. District Court Judge Richard M. Berman overturned the NFL’s four-game suspension for Tom Brady. The NFL then decided to appeal Berman’s decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals.
This is good news for Tom Brady fantasy owners. There were rumors floating around last week that Brady could serve a suspension during this season but this news ensures he will be available barring injury for the rest of the season.
Here is my question, could Brady retire after this season? Think about it, if he does the NFL loses.
While I feel Brady still has three to four years left, he may not be able to save his face if the NFL’s appeal is overturned. Brady fought hard to save his name, but this could be a way for him to walk away and still be on top.
@ESPNNFL: Tom Brady is dominating the NFL through 3 games.
