Chargers sign TE Kyle Miller; Release DL Mitch Unnrein
The San Diego Chargers released defensive lineman Mitch Unrein today to make room for tight end Kyle Miller.
Miller spent training camp with the club and made the 53-man roster this month. He was active Week 1 but waived before Week 2, as the team chose to carry three tight ends against the Bengals on Sunday, partly due to injuries elsewhere.
Ladarius Green suffered a concussion Sunday, a team spokesman said Wednesday.
Chargers flew in TE Kyle Miller last night, are signing him this morning, source says. Ladarius Green has concussion: http://t.co/FJvqoQFs0C
