Chargers place guard Johnnie Troutman on I/R; Release TE Kyle Miller
Johnnie Troutman was hopeful Monday he could return to the Chargers this season.
That will not happen now as he was placed on the injured reserve.

The veteran right guard was placed Tuesday on season-ending injury reserve. The team had waited him out, stashing him on the roster during the first three games as he recovered from an Aug. 13 fractured forearm.
