Redskins have named Kirk Cousins their starting quarterback for week 1
The Redskins are planning on starting QB Kirk Cousins in Week 1 against the Dolphins, sources tell ESPN’s Dianna Russini. Robert Griffin III is sidelined with a concussion.
ESPN’s Ed Werder reported GM Scot McCloughan is “determined to change team culture” and could decide to move on from Robert Griffin III.
This would be a shocking move for the Redskins, but it is not like either of them are better than the other. RG3 is 5-15 as a starter and Cousins is 1-7 as a starter.
