Redskins have named Kirk Cousins the starter for 2015; Bye Bye RG3?
Redskins coach Jay Gruden announced Monday that Kirk Cousins will be the team’s starter in 2015, and not just for the season opener against the Dolphins, as was reported earlier.
Gruden told reporters that the Redskins are “Kirk’s team.” He also added that Robert Griffin III did not lose the starting job due to injury, but instead because of Cousins’ performance in the preseason.
Could the Redskins trade RG3? This is a great question, but at the end of the day the team may have to release him.
