Patriots release three defenders including CB Derek Cox
The New England Patriots announced Saturday that they have released DB Derek Cox, DB Justin Green and LB DJ Lynch.

The Patriots were paper thin at the cornerback position heading into camp and this makes that position even thinner.
The team must be looking at adding more defenders, because right now they do not have much depth.
