New England Patriots have signed quarterback Ryan Lindley. Lindley was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at San Diego State.

Lindley’s stats are not very hot. As a starter in the NFL, he has thrown 2 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. Even though he has put up some big yardage, he has failed as a quarterback. I do not know what the Patriots are thinking with this signing. He will likely be kept for a couple weeks and dumped when the regular season begins.
