We are learning that linebacker L.J. Fort has been claimed off the waivers by the Steelers. Fort was released yesterday by the New England Patriots.
Fort played college football at Northern Iowa. He was the leading tackler for the Panthers, and has had been bouncing around the league.
He has lined up at Mike Linebacker and fullback. Remember Fort was a big time running back when he was in high school.
@JaysonBraddock: The Steelers waived / injured Jordan Zumwalt. I’d personally claim him. If he goes unclaimed he would revert to IR.
