Bengals have waived quarterback Josh Johnson

The Cincinnati Bengals announced a few roster moves on Tuesday including the release of veteran QB Josh Johnson. Cincinnati also waived S Erick Dargan and DT Kalafitoni Pole. Johnson played college football at San Diego, and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

Johnson, 29, is a former fifth round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2012. Since then, he’s played for a number of teams including the Browns, Bengals, Chargers, and 49ers.
