According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New Orleans Saints have offered a contract to former Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham. The only hold up though is Gresham has a workout with the Arizona Cardinals this week. Sources tell Schefter that Gresham has other visits planned the next two weeks and is expected to sign with a team before camp. Schefter added that Gresham is now the NFL’s most “sought-after available tight end.”
This is great news for Gresham, who was struggling to find a team after needing surgery earlier this year. Gresham found out he had an injury when visiting the Raiders. This is great news for the teams that are in need of a tight end.
