Dolphins lose A Legend; No Name Defense’s Defensive Cooridnator has passed away

IMG_4642.JPGThere has not been a better team in the NFL than the 1972 Miami Dolphins. The Miami Dolphins put on a show with a bunch of no name players on their defense. Well their defensive coach Bill Arnsparger has passed away at the age of 88.

@MiamiDolphins: We are saddened to have learned of the passing of former Defensive Coordinator Bill Arnsparger.

Bill Arnsparger, a 23-year NFL coach, 17-year collegiate football coach and the lead architect of the 1972 Miami Dolphins defense that bolstered the only undefeated season and postseason in the history of the NFL, died on Friday at age 88 in his home in Athens, Ala., according to multiple reports.  This is a sad day for Dolphins fans. RIP Bill
