Arizona Cardinals free agent wide receiver Damond Powell was shot in the face outside his home in Toledo, Ohio according to a report.
The injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to the Toledo Blade. The Blade, citing the police report, said Powell was sitting with friends in his driveway in South Toledo. Shots came from a vehicle down the street at approximately 8:36 p.m. The report said three suspects were seen wearing masks in the gold vehicle.
Powell was signed by the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent and played college at Iowa.
