Texans will hold joint practices with the Redskins this year
This year the Houston Texans will conduct joint practices during training camp, for the second year in a row. Last season the Texans traveled to Denver for practices before their preseason match-up and they hosted the Atlanta Falcons before playing them in the preseason.
They had planned to practice in New Orleans with the Saints, but New Orleans pulled out after the team announced their participation in “Hard Knocks.”
Houston does not face the Redskins this year, but it is very likely the Redskins will get a taste of television time on Hard Knocks.
It will be good to see RG3 and the Redskins running away from the defense. The defensive line in Houston may be the best in the entire NFL. With the addition of Vince Wilfork the Houston D could be ready to cause some amazing damage to opposing quarterbacks.
