Philip Rivers is now willing to talk to Chargers about an extension
There were many rumors that Philip Rivers the former first round pick of the Chargers was done in a Chargers uniform, but that is not the case. The Chargers decided to keep the gunslinger and now he is excited about the situation. Before Rivers was not willing to talk to the media, and now he is saying he is excited to be part of the team. He also said he would listen to a contract extension.
“A lot of moving parts and lots to think about,” Rivers said. “Location, family, team … All I can say at this point regarding an extension is I’m willing to listen to anything. I’m also willing to play it out. I’m just fired up to be the Chargers QB in 2015.”
It sounds like Rivers might be willing to stick around now that he is not a trade pawn.
