New England Patriots have released a few more players
Today the New England Patriots began trimming their roster. After releasing Alonzo Dennard in the morning the team made a couple more moves.
The New England Patriots announced that they have released cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, LS Tyler Ott and LB Deontae Skinner.
Ott, 23, originally signed with the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Harvard on May 16, 2014, and was released on Aug. 18. The Patriots drafted a long snapper which ultimately made him expendable.
Skinner, 24, was originally signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Mississippi State on May 12, 2014. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder. Skinner played in seven games with one start, accumulating 10 total tackles and three special teams tackles.
