NFL drops lawsuit after viewing photos of Greg Hardy’s case
The NFL has dropped its lawsuit against the Mecklenburg District Attorney’s office now that it has viewed photos submitted as evidence in the domestic violence case against Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The DA’s office issued a release Monday afternoon stating that the complaint had been dropped. This comes after the office agreed to allow the NFL, the NFL Players Association, Greg Hardy’s attorney and their experts to view the seven photographs described in the consent order.
The NFL and other parties were not given or allowed to make copies of the photos. The release states that the NFL has agreed to keep the photographs confidential but demonstrated a need to review the photos for a disciplinary hearing involved Hardy.
