Sorry folks, Byron Maxwell is not worth 10 million plus a year
There are reports that Byron Maxwell is hearing an offer worth more that 10 million a year from the Philadelphia Eagles, but I am sorry that is a horrible deal if true.

The #Eagles are currently willing to pay CB Byron Maxwell north of $10M per year, per a source. Top of the market.
This reminds me it is not good to have a need at a position when the free agency does not favor that position. Maxwell has played in the NFL and he has a total of 88 tackles. He has a total of 6 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles. Now let’s take his contract into perspective. If he does receive 10 million a year, he will be the fourth highest paid cornerback in the NFL.
PS. He has only started 17 games in his career, are you serious? This is crazy talk Eagles fans…..
The contract will make him the fourth highest paid corner in 2015 behind Richard Sherman, Patrick Peterson, and Joe Haden. DO you think Maxwell is even close to that caliber?
