The New England Patriots are considering a trade for Philadelphia Eagles left guard Evan Mathis, according to a source cited by The Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe.

The Patriots have expressed interest in acquiring guard Evan Mathis from the Eagles in a trade, according to a source.
The 33-year-old Mathis made the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons, but is apparently on the trading block. Citing an unnamed source, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport also reported on Thursday that the Eagles were “working” to trade him.
