Chiefs release veteran linebacker Joe Mays; Save 2.7 million
Today the Kansas City Chiefs released veteran linebacker Joe Mays.
The move clears $2.7 million in cap space.
Mays signed a two-year, $6 million deal last March, but was limited to eight games by a wrist injury.
