Bold NFC Championship Prediction: Green Bay Packers v. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks are on the verge of becoming repeat champions after hoisting the Lombardi last year. According to Vegas lines they are 7.5 point favorites over the Green Bay Packers. The Packers and Seahawks met in the regular season where the Packers lost 36-16.
Winds are expected to between 15 and 25 mph throughout the game with gusts up to 60 mph for today’s game. Strong breezes will have more of an effect on the passing games than the rain. So expect a power running game where the Seahawks should be favored. The Seahawks combined with arguably the best two-headed rushing attack with Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson. Those two combined for over 2,100 rushing yards this year, the most by any RB-QB tandem in the league. Well today that doesn’t happen. The Packers shut down the running game of the Seahawks.
The Packers are able to expose Richard Sherman on the outside on more than one occasion, but the Seahawks front cannot stop the power running of Eddie Lacy.
Lacy rushes for 100 yards in the first half and the Packers pull off a huge upset on the road.
