Vick says he believes the Jets would have won more games if he started
Michael Vick is a very fun quarterback to watch, because he has a rocket for an arm and is a very talented runner. Well yesterday when NJ.com asked him if he felt he would have won more games if he started from day one, and he was very upfront about it.
“So me saying that, please don’t get it misconstrued. Please don’t go out and say, ‘Mike Vick felt like if he was the starter, then we would be winning,’ because that’s not what I’m saying right now,” Vick said, via NJ.com. “I’m saying in front of all these cameras that, if given an opportunity, yeah, I believe our team would’ve maybe won some games. That’s speaking from experience and playing in the league for a long time.”
While it is not a shot at the Jets organization or Geno Smith, I have to completely agree with Vick. Vick is a better quarterback than anyone else on the Jets roster. The team was just forcing Rex to play Geno because they spent a high draft pick on him.
