Richard Sherman has 23 interceptions since 2011

Richard Sherman intercepted Colin Kaepernick twice in the Seahawks’ victory over the 49ers, lifting his career total to 23 interceptions since he entered the NFL in 2011.

Sherman is the first player in 30 years to accumulate that many interceptions in his first four seasons in the league.

The last two such players did it simultaneously with one another, from 1981 to 1984; Everson Walls made 25 interceptions in those four seasons, and Kenny Easley had 24.
