NFL will not let Adrian Peterson use his time away as his punishment
According to Fox Sports Mike Garofalo,
the NFL rejected an attempt by Adrian Peterson’s camp for immediate reinstatement following his plea agreement on Tuesday and refused to engage in discussions regarding a settlement over his playing status.

The NFL said they would make the decision soon, but it will be an additional suspension. So the question is, will we see Adrian Peterson again this year?
