Cardinals feel they can win the Super Bowl with Drew Stanton
Did the Arizona Cardinals give Carson Palmer a contract extension at the wrong time? Remember it was only eight days after he received his first pay raise in Cincinnati when he blew his knee out the first time. Yesterday was only one day after receiving a huge pay day. Well no need to panic because their head coach feels they can get the job done with their back up.
Following Sunday’s win over the St. Louis Rams, coach Bruce Arians told TheMMQB.com’s Peter King that his team — which has lost as many key players as any in the NFL — won’t let up and believes Stanton can drive them where they need to go.
“We can win the Super Bowl with Drew Stanton,” Arians said. “There is no doubt in my mind.”
If they get to the Super Bowl, they will be playing at home, which would be a huge benefit for Drew Stanton, but could you imagine if Drew Stanton wins it all?
