Barry Sanders says if he was a GM he would start his franchise with Marshawn Lynch
Hall of Famer Barry Sanders was asked by Yahoo Sports, If he were an NFL general manager, with which current running back would he choose to start a franchise, and you would never guess who he picked?
He feels Marshawn Lynch is the guy to best start your team with, and here is why.
“Maybe I would go with a Marshawn Lynch, especially since I’m not actually behind that oak desk. There’s going to be no real repercussions for making this decision—he’s the guy I’d start a team with.”
He went on to say, “Very effective, the guy has been healthy, he can run in a very physical style but also slippery and elusive. Good speed, can hurt you from anywhere on the field. A good pass-blocker and an all-around good football player. If I can pick one running back, I’d start with him.”
