Seahawks sign center from Browns practice squad
The Seahawks signed center Patrick Lewis off the Browns’ practice squad on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Lewis joined the Seahawks late in the preseason, suiting up for Seattle in the exhibition finale vs. Oakland. However, the Seahawks waived him in the cut to 53 players, and he signed with the Browns’ practice squad on Sept. 1. Lewis has also had stints with Green Bay and Jacksonville.
In a corresponding move the team released Josh Thomas.
