Odell Beckham has missed the first four games of his rookie season while dealing with a hamstring injury. The receiver is listed as questionable for Sunday after being limed in practice all week, but said he ready to get his first taste of action.
“That’s the plan,” Beckham said, per the New York Daily News. “I’ve been feeling pretty good, but at the same time I’ve been trying to save some juice for Sunday.”
Coach Tom Coughlin, who has displayed frustration at times with the rookie’s injury was non-committal about the wideout suiting up.
Beckham, however, was confident enough to talk about seeing his first NFL action.
“It’s just something that I dreamed about as long as I can remember,” he said. “…As a competitor, you’re going to go out there and you’re going to play as hard as you can. At the end of the day it’s football and it is the National Football League, and I know it’s a little different than college football for sure, (but) I’m definitely prepared.”
