Redskins will be without Jordan Reed this week
Jordan Reed will be out this week according to Jay Gruden. Gruden said replacing the second-year tight end’s versatility will be difficult.
“You have a lot of formations and part of your game plan designed around him, playing him outside, in the slot and all that,” Gruden said. “When he goes out after the seventh play of offense, it hurts you a little bit. … He was a major part of the game plan, especially in the red zone. But, it didn’t work out that way and now we’ve just got to get him well as soon as we can and keep moving.”
Jay Gruden told Jaguars reporters that Jordan Reed will “most likely be out on Sunday” and that “he’s a long shot, I would say.”
