Panthers head coach is fed up with the Steve Smith returning talk
Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera says too much is being made about Sunday’s game at the Baltimore Ravens being a showdown between wide receiver Steve Smith and his former team.
“We know who he is,” Rivera said Friday. “He’s a tremendous player. He’s got a chance to be the first Carolina Panthers [player] in the Hall of Fame. So let’s understand and move forward.
“At the end of the day, it’s us against them.”
Well Mr. Rivera, you better hope your game plan is shutting him down, because I expect a monstrous game from the itty bitty one in his return.
