Fantasy Prediction: Expect Packers RB Eddie Lacy to eat the next couple weeks
The Green Bay Packers have not been able to establish a running game over the past three weeks. While Eddie Lacy feels it is his problem that might not be the case.
“I don’t know if I have to be more patient or speed things up but one way or another I’m responsible for the run game,” Lacy said after rushing 11 times for 36 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Lions.
The problem with the Packers running game is the team has faced three of the top 10 best rushing defenses in the NFL. The team has faced the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and the Detroit Lions. The Jets have only allowed 105 yards after two games, the Lions have only allowed 191 yards after three games and the Saints have allowed a 304 rushing yards. The Jets and Lions are number 1 and number 2 in rush defense while the Saints are number 10.
Next up on their schedule the Packers will face the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. I expect Eddie Lacy to go off. The Bears are allowing 160 yards a game rushing while the Vikings are allowing 110 yards a game. I can see Eddie Lacy having back to back 100 yard games. Expect him to go off if you have him on your fantasy roster.
