Brian Dixon finally gets noticed over his brother Brandon

I have known the Dixon twi s for quite some time now and one thing about Brandon was he always looked out for his brother. I remember doibg an interview with Brandon, he said I would love to do an interview with you, but only if we can do one with mu brother Brian too. As a small school scout I was happy to do both because I know they both had skills.

While everyone touted Brandon is the better of the two twins, Brian had the last laugh this weeked during roster cuts.

Brian, a undrafted free agent cornerback from Division II Northwest Missouri State, had beaten the odds to make the Saints 53-man roster. The crazy thing is Brian had to beat out future Hall of Famer Champ Bailey for a roster apot.

Brandon on the other hand also a cornerback out of the same school, and the sixth-round draft pick of the New York Jets had been cut, although he would by signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad the next day, it was still a great feeling for Brian.

“He called me, and as good as I felt, I hated it for my twin,” Brian Dixon said Wednesday as the Saints began game week preparations for Atlanta. “I told him that when one door closed, another one opened, and it did at Tampa Bay.”

At the end of the day, both of these kids deserved to be in the NFL and they still are hanging around. Good luck men.
