Philadelphia Eagles pass rushers are learning a lot from Kevin Greene

kevin greeneThere are many ways to get after the quarterback, but Kevin Greene took a primal approach to recording the third-highest sack total in modern NFL history.

“Always establish the violent, physical nature of the game up front from the get-go,” Greene said. “That’s the number one thing: Kick his [butt]. That’s it, and everything else is secondary.”

The Eagles pass rushers sure are learning a lot from Greene the former sack master from Pittsburgh.  Greene has guys hungry, and if the Eagles defense can cause a problem for their opponents watch out, because the Eagles could be unstoppable in the NFC East.  I have the Eagles going all the way to the NFC Championship this year and losing in the game to the 49ers.  I think Chip Kelly has this team heading in the right direction, but they will need their defense to step up.
