A list of four teams that could use 49ers guard Alex Boone

alex booneAlex Boone has been holding out of 49ers camp because he wants a pay raise, but the problem is everyone on the 49ers wants a pay raise.  Vernon Davis was another player holding out but decided to return because of the situation. Boone has not budged, and now he is the topic of trade rumors.  I thought I would put together a list of teams that could use the services of Boone that might not be afraid of giving him a new deal and a draft pick for the veteran guard.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Yesterday, Ian Rapoport admitted that the Bucs were one team that seemed interested in Boone’s services.  After losing Carl Nicks the team has a huge void on their offensive line.  Alex Boone would become an immediate starter on a pretty solid veteran line.

Indianapolis Colts The Colts are another team that could definitely use some help on the offensive line.  They lost several of their players already in the preseason.  Boone would be an instant upgrade for the Colts.  The Colts are not afraid to trade a pick for a player.

Buffalo BillsThe Buffalo Bills need help on the inside of their line. The team has very good depth on the line but but Boone would be an instant upgrade . The Bills have been making several trades including draft picks, so I would not be surprised to see them make a move.

Chicago Bears – The Bears could always use depth.  I could see them using Alex Boone.  If the Bears were able to pick up Boone on the cheap, I could see them upgrading their line. I am not sure what they would give up though.
